Welcome to the Protestant Church of Antalya

Antalya is a beautiful Mediterranean port city on the southwest coast of Turkey. The city has a population of over two million, while the wider province is home to more than three million people. It is also one of the fastest-growing regions in the country.
Yet, despite its size and growth, Antalya has very few established Turkish-speaking evangelical churches and only a small number of known evangelical believers. Turkey is a predominantly Muslim country with a population of nearly 90 million people, but the number of known Turkish evangelical Christians remains very small.

In this context, the Protestant Church of Antalya was established in February 2010 to be a faithful Christian witness to the local community and the wider Antalya region.

Our Goals
To worship God faithfully.
To spiritually train and equip His people.
To share the way of salvation with those who do not yet believe.
To defend and proclaim the Christian faith according to the Bible.

Our Authority
In matters of faith and practice, the Protestant Church of Antalya is guided by the truth and teaching of the Bible. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the Church, and that the ministry of the church must be led by elders who are selected and appointed according to biblical principles.

The elders of the Protestant Church of Antalya are always under the authority of God’s Word, the Bible.

The Protestant Church of Antalya seeks to cooperate with like-minded churches in order to spread the Gospel of Christ in Turkey. We also welcome encouragement, counsel, and assistance from other churches when needs arise.

At the same time, the Protestant Church of Antalya is an independent church. It is not under the authority or decisions of any other church, church association, representative board, or denominational association.

About Us
The Protestant Church of Antalya was opened in February 2010 in Antalya, Turkey, in accordance with the freedom of worship provided by the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey.

Our church exists to serve Turkish and Turkish-speaking Christian communities in faith, worship, and discipleship. We are a Protestant community of believers with Bible-centered and conservative theology, while maintaining a clear and accessible style of worship.

Our meetings are open to the public, including those who are not Christians. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to attend one of our meetings, study God’s Word with us, or ask any questions you may have.

We would be happy to welcome you.

What We Believe

The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Amen.
